About Tina Walsh

Property Sourcer & Compliance Expert

I’m Tina Walsh, and together with my husband Tony, we have been on a mission the best part of ten years to transform the property sourcing sector.

With decades of experience in the property  sector - both as a sourcing agent and investor, we’re now has as NAPSA - the National Association for the Property Sourcing Sector, here to share our knowledge and help agents like you run your business the right way - legally, ethically, and successfully.

"When I started property sourcing, there was no guidance out there for how to do it compliantly. As we are running and governed under the same rules as estate agency businesses, I saw a huge gap in knowledge within the sector.

I wanted to take the frustration and confusion out of compliance by bringing all of the legislation and regulations together under one place—which is why I wrote the Code of Practice under NAPSA. This has been accepted and followed by both redress schemesThe Property Ombudsman (TPO) and Property Redress—for a number of years.

Now we want to take it further. Far too many agents are still being taught incorrectly and operating illegally. Too many agents are getting fined, and we’re not able to reach them. NAPSA will be moving forward proactively to try to protect agents before they get fined and protect investors from unscrupulous agents.

NAPSA is driving this forward. We want change. We want a better sector. We want to build trust from investors. It’s more than possible, but we need sourcing agent support to drive forward a community for the better.

We hope to see you join us!"

- Tina Walsh, Founder and CEO of NAPSA

Our Journey into Property Sourcing

Our story began with a passion for property. In 2005, Tony and I started buying, renovating, and selling properties. But like many, we made rookie mistakes, especially during the 2007 market crash.

In 2012, I took a leap and founded our property sourcing business. I spent the first 10 months researching how to operate legally, only to discover that most property sourcers weren’t compliant. That realization sparked a mission: to raise awareness and standards in the industry.

Since then, I’ve written books, created courses, and founded the National Association for Property Sourcers (NAPSA) and now NAPSA Education - to help others succeed while staying compliant.

Our Vision For the Future

NAPSA as a team are completed committed to:

  • Raising Standards: Ensuring all property sourcing agents are fit for purpose and provide professional services.
  • Protecting Investors: Supporting those who’ve lost money to unscrupulous agents.
  • Achieving 100% Compliance: Through training, education, and advocacy, we aim to make compliance the norm in property sourcing.
